At Cotton Cloud, we create styled setups that feel magical and memorable – from soft, simple pastels to vibrant themed backdrops. Every detail is thoughtfully designed so your little one is the star of the show.
Each cake smash includes time for clean portraits before the fun begins, the smash itself, and if you pick our deluxe package, a bubble bath to finish (because who doesn’t love those cheeky splashy smiles?). You’ll walk away with a gallery of gorgeous, joy-filled images that celebrate this once-in-a-lifetime stage.

What if my baby doesn’t like the cake?
That’s completely okay, every baby reacts differently. Some babies dive straight in while others are more curious or cautious. I gently guide the session and capture beautiful moments regardless. The session is completely baby-led.
Do you provide the cake?
We have packages that include the cake and some that don't, so if you pick a package with a cake included then yes, we provide it! However, we don't provide cakes if baby has allergies.
What should my baby wear?
We have outfits to match most of our themes but do encourage you to bring options as well.

Their whole first birthday story, beautifully captured.
More than just a cake smash. We'll capture beautiful birthday portraits before the mess begins, a few photographs with the people they love most, their cake smash and all those hilarious little reactions before finishing with the sweetest bubble bath.
And we'll organise the cake, too. You just bring your little one. 🤍

A non-refundable booking fee of $100 is required to secure your session date, this comes off the total price. Cake smash sessions are best booked 2-3 months in advance to allow time for planning and styling.
